Hvad er Mindfulness? 

 
 

Ordet mindfulness kan oversættes til bevidst nærvær (at observere sine tanker), og udspringer af en urgammel, buddhistisk tradition, hvor munke gennem livslang praksis og meditation opnår dyb indsigt. I stedet for at blive opslugt af følelser som angst fx før en eksamen, trækker du vejret dybt og observerer din angst – mærker efter i hele kroppen, hvordan den føles lige nu. Du tager så at sige tager tankerne i hånden i stedet for at kæmpe imod dem, og de mister derfor lidt efter lidt mister deres overtag. Mindfulness er at have din opmærksomhed forankret i nuet – på godt og ondt.  

 
 
 

Kursusprofil 

 
 

Hver session er specielt designet til at øve mindfulness i dit liv og afhjælpe stress, og omfatter bl.a. guidet body scans, guidet meditation, og dybe vejrtræknings øvelser. 

 
 

Hver session har en varighed på 45 minutter, afsluttet med 15 minutters guided afslapning.

Om Din Mindfulness Coach – Sacha Skott 

 
 

Sacha forlod sin karriere i modebranchen i 2009 på grund af burnout og drog til Thailand for at studerede meditation; hun har sidenhen formået at forandre sit liv, og finde balance og indre fred. 

 
 

Hvorfor Mindfulness for mænd? 

Jeg føler specielt behovet for mænd, der ofte har lange arbejdsdage og generelt er mindre forbundne til deres følelser og krop. 

 
 

Som massageterapeut og yogalærer møder og behandler jeg ofte mænd, som enten er i fysisk smerte eller lider af andre stressrelaterede symptomer, så som kronisk smerte, søvnløshed, panikanfald, forhøjet blodtryk, og tinnitus. 

 
 

For nylig mistede jeg en tæt slægtning, der tog sit eget liv efter en burnout. Han havde arbejdet i den finansielle sektor og havde aldrig lagt vægt på symptomerne. En dag brød han ned, mistede en del af sin hørelse og endte på hospital i flere måneder. Senere endte han livet, da han aldrig rigtigt blev genoprettet. 

 
 

Vidste du, at selvmordstallet for mænd er 50% højere end for kvinder? 

 
 

Stress påvirker er ikke kun på mændene, men også deres familier, og i værste tilfælde, at børn mister en forælder eller at et forhold  kommer til ophør.

Yin Yoga ist eine Praxis, wo die Positionen im liegend oder sitzend stattfindet, es ist eine entspannende praxis ,wir halten die Positionen 3-5 min, wir dehnen das Bindegewebe, und bringen Flüssigkeit in die Gelenke, und es sorgt für Energie /chi flow in die Meridianen die mit gewisse Organe verbunden sind, und die wiederum mit Emotionen die hoch kommen können wenn wir der Energie nicht fliesst.

 I have started practicing Gratitude , I wake up in the Morning and try and think of 3 things I am grateful for and  I repeat this in the evening before going to sleep. This practice can change your day waking up thinking positive, being grateful for being alive , having a healthy body maybe ? , having a place to stay, having  food, having friends and family it goes on and  on, often we  focus on things we do not have, things we may have for periods of our lives , practising gratitude is worth a try !

WHAT IS YIN YOGA AND WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO PRACTICE IT ?

A Yin Yoga class, consist of a series of long-held, from 3 minutes to 5 minutes and even much longer depending on practitioner, No previous knowledge of yoga is necessary.

We sit or lie down , in passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body but also upper body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues.

Holding the posture for longer in order to gently stress the connective tissue ,tendons, fascia, and ligaments, which tend to get stiff and immobile with age.

Why practice Yin? what is the benefits ? 

The physical benefits: this practice makes the joints more elastic. “joint rehabilitation,” and working the joints in this way acts as a preventive health technique, it makes the joints and their core components stronger and more durable, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility,  lubricating our joints. 

At same time we also work on the Meridians so that the chi /energy flow will increase in certain Meridians /linked to organs realising blockages and boost your Immune system and increase synovial fluid in your joints. 

The mental benefits: awakening of our awareness, finding back to our natural body intelligence, directing our attention towards our inner organs, through breath exercises and visualisations, to regain vitality, in our physical body and our mind. From reactivity towards inner wisdom.

Slowing down our nervous system , so that we can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system , so that your cortisol level will sink, your heart rate will fall, you will sleep better and you are strengthening your immune system.

Explore the core principles of the ashtanga vinyasa yoga and yin
yoga system by grounding yourself in the nourishing landscape of
the Kornspeicher Mauritz in Rügen. During four days, we will focus on the understanding of how to combine and balance an active oriented (yang) practice with a passive (yin) one. Doing this, we will experience the deep levels of our bodies, our skeleton and physical constitution.
In addition to that, we will enable our capacity to observe the sensa- tions and fluctuations of our bodies and minds. It is about bringing the attention to the quality of the breath and its relation to a well-grounded and mindful practice.

Nathalie Fari is a performer, art-educator and yoga teacher working at the interface of artistic research and bodywork. She has started to practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in her hometown of São Paulo in 2000 and since her move to Berlin in 2004, she has been teaching as well. From 2005-16 she was part of the Ashtanga Yoga Berlin-Team, where she completed several tea- cher trainings and workshops with: Nancy Gilgoff, Richard Freemann, Chuck Miller and Matty Ezraty. Additionally, she has been giving ashtanga- and vinyasa flow classes at fitness studios and recently at the on-line platform yogaia. Sasha Skott grew up in Sweden and Denmark. Her first education was in Ballet. Later, she worked for many years in the fashion industry.
